SingCham Vietnam – Strengthening the Singapore–Vietnam Business Partnership

The Singapore Chamber of Commerce Vietnam (SingCham Vietnam), formerly known as the Singapore Business Group (SBG HCMC), has been a cornerstone of the business community in Vietnam since its establishment on August 9, 1992. What began as a small social club of 30 members has grown into a premier Chamber of Commerce with over 400 members, representing one of the most dynamic foreign business communities in the country.

SingCham Vietnam plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and growth opportunities for Singaporean and Vietnamese enterprises alike. From monthly networking sessions and legal seminars to business-focused events and sector-specific initiatives, the Chamber connects its members with decision-makers, policymakers, and fellow professionals to drive mutual success.

Beyond business, SingCham Vietnam is also known for its strong commitment to social responsibility. Since 2001, its annual charity golf event has funded an educational program that has provided scholarships to more than 3,000 deserving students across Vietnam, reinforcing the Chamber’s dedication to giving back to the local community.

In 2023, the merger of SingCham Vietnam and the Singapore Business Association Vietnam (SBAV) marked a new chapter of growth, uniting business communities in both Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Today, SingCham Vietnam stands as a larger, more influential chamber with nationwide presence and impact, further strengthening the Singapore–Vietnam partnership.

Over the years, Cross Connect Club (3C) has proudly collaborated with SingCham Vietnam on many impactful initiatives. Most recently, SingCham co-hosted the “Raffles Night: Sip & Share – Business Uncorked”, creating another platform for meaningful connections and business exchange.
