The ceremony attended by high-ranking officials from Vietnam's Ministry of Planning and Investment, local authorities, the Danish Embassy, and Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture, and Fisheries Jacob Jensen, who was on a working visit to Vietnam from May 14-16.

This factory will create 7,000 jobs and operate on 100 per cent renewable energy, while only using recycled silver and gold.

The new facility will produce up to 60 million pieces of jewellery per year when it opens in early 2026. It will support Pandora’s long-term growth and boost the company's crafting capacity by around 50 per cent.

According to Alexander Lacik, CEO and president of Pandora, the company is ready to start a new chapter in Vietnam.

The new facility will be Pandora’s fourth manufacturing site and the first outside Thailand. The site covers 7.5 hectares, the size of 10 football fields, and the buildings will measure more than 50,000 square metres.

The facility will be constructed in accordance with LEED Gold standards, a leading green building certification.

This will contribute to Pandora’s sustainability goals of halving carbon emissions across its full supply chain by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2040.

The factory will be equipped with state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and be optimised with digital solutions.
